What are LEGO Botanical roses?

LEGO’s Bouquet of Roses is an engaging building kit for adults which, when finished, can be placed in your home as an ornament.

The set is made up of 822 pieces which make up 12 red roses surrounded by sprigs of baby’s breath.

The roses are captured in three phases of their growth: buds, mid-bloom and full-bloom.

They’re part of the botanical range, which adds a floral touch to any home without the hassle of watering.

The flowers retail for £54.99 on the LEGO website, making them quite a lot more expensive than your average bouquet.

Bargain spotter

One savvy shopper spotted the beautiful blooms for sale in their local Asda, and shared her find on social media.

Posting to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, Katie Jo Clyne Hulse shared a picture to the group of her lucky find.

Members of the group come together to share deals, offers and money-saving hacks.

She posted a picture of the roses she’d seen in the Aberdeen Beach branch of Asda.

Alongside her picture, she wrote: “LEGO Botanical Roses £18.50 in Asda!

“These are still £42.99 in Smyths and £45 in Argos!

“Absolute bargain!”

Luckily for Katie, she was also able to get a further 15% off thanks to her husband’s employee discount – meaning she nabbed them for just £15.
