THIS SEASON’S Scottish Cup hopefuls are heading back to Hampden.
Teams will do battle at the National Stadium once this weekend’s quarter-final schedule is complete and the semi-final pairings are made.

Queen’s Park stunned Rangers in the last 16 to take a place in the quarter finals – but will they or Aberdeen be in the semis?[/caption]
Celtic won the cup last May – and have won it the most times too[/caption]
The entrant numbers have dropped into single figure territory since the competition kicked off way back in August with the qualifiers.
And that means we’re now at the business end of the competition.
From 130 teams involved the last eight are becoming the final four and taking a place in the hat for semi-final weekend in April.
Among them could be some history.
Livingston have never won the Scottish Cup, while it’s more than 130 years for Queen‘s Park – the first ever name on the old trophy.
Aberdeen have had a fairly long wait of 35 years too – but not as long as Dundee who have had another 90 on top of that.
Hibs, St Johnstone and Hearts have all won the trophy this century and holders Celtic are still aiming to defend their trophy this weekend.
But there are seven rivals bidding to topple them and each is aiming for a spot in the semi-final draw and the coveted place on the pitch when the tournament turns back to Hampden.
We’ll have all the latest from the matches in The Scottish Sun in print, and online.
