THE world’s most famous dog show returns today with more than 20,000 pooches making their way to the 135th year of Crufts.
Crufts 2025 runs from March 6-9 and takes place at the NEC Birmingham.
Highlights will be shown on Channel 4 and More 4, including live coverage of the Best in Show trophy being awarded.
Security is expected to be tight at the venue after last year’s show was interrupted when protesters stormed onto the showground, with guards forced to pull a man and a woman out of the arena.
As a result of a backlash from animal cruelty campaigners last year, The Sun revealed the show will require Pugs, Bulldogs and French Bulldogs to undergo a breathing assessment before being deemed fit to compete this year.
