The “On the Floor” singer filed for divorce from Ben after two years of marriage, citing their date of separation as April 26, 2024.
“Jen’s had so much going on with Ben, it just took a toll, and she and John ended up going their separate ways. It wasn’t her choice,” the source said.
“Ben’s been turning to Jen [Garner] for advice and support, and that’s been a big source of annoyance for John,” the insider added of Jen and John’s latest split. “He doesn’t enjoy competing with her ex-husband for her attention.”
However, the couple soon confirmed their romance was still going strong when they were spotted enjoying a summer date night in Los Angeles later that month.

Most men wouldn’t be thrilled to see their girlfriend in an intimate embrace with her ex, but John knows the truth.”

To do that, the couple avoided appearing on red carpets together, instead choosing to meet up inside the venue, as well as arriving separately to outings like dinner.
