Diablo 4’s decision not to include this feature means that players must manually inspect and sort through every piece of loot they find.

In previous Diablo games, particularly Diablo 3, pets had functionality beyond aesthetics, picking up gold and helping manage minor tasks. Diablo 4 could take this idea to another level by allowing pets to automatically gather and filter unwanted gear on behalf of the player, providing a solution to inventory clutter, bringing a huge quality of life upgrade.

It is something we are sure Elon Musk would definitely love as well, given that he is one of the top players in the game in America. At the end of the day, it is ultimately one of the best ways to implement this one mechanic that players have been asking for forever.
