Maxx, where high-ticket items make their way onto the shelves for just a fraction of the cost. Of course, this applies to home goods as much as it does to fashion and accessories. And now, shoppers are thrilled to find that T.J. Maxx is selling the exact same candles you can find at Anthropologie stores—except they’re much, much cheaper.

T.J. Maxx is selling the famous Capri Blue candles.
We all get excited when we come across a great deal in the wild. But in a recent video, TikTik user and deal-hunting influencer Monica Paulino says she may have stumbled upon a truly unexpected breakthrough during a visit to the discount retailer.
“I don’t know who is negotiating the candle deals at T.J. Maxx, but they seriously need a raise,” she gushes. “They just keep delivering, and delivering, and delivering on their fancy candles—I’m talking Anthropologie level.”
She explains that while perusing the candle aisle, she spotted what looked like a familiarly shaped candle that resembled an item she’d seen on the shelves in Anthropologie for years. Sure enough, she picked up the unbranded candle and read the “tiniest font” printed on the bottom to notice it read “Created by Capri Blue.”
“Capri Blue is an Anthropologie brand,” she explains. “You see it all the time: They’ve had it for years, [and] they make beautiful, expensive, fancy candles. They are really nice—and now T.J. Maxx officially has Anthropology candles!”

The candles cost quite a bit less, too.
The find has caught other customers’ eyes, too. In a separate video, TikToker @pickup_six noted the same discovery, except with Capri Blue branding featured prominently on some labels. Besides running down the variety of scents, she also pointed out that while the 19-ounce candles typically sell for $38 at Anthropologie, they’re available for just $16.99 at T.J. Maxx. Altogether, this works out to a whopping savings of $21, or roughly 45 percent off.
The user also showcased multiple smaller 8.5-ounce candles, which retail for just $7.99. Meanwhile, the same version runs for $14 more at Anthropologie.

Another TikToker was thrilled to come across three different versions of the wildly popular “Volcano” scent at her location, remarking: “How did the universe know I just ran out of mine but didn’t want to spend $38 on a candle?”
Others were quick to point out that they had seen the very same candles on shelves at T.J. Maxx’s decor-focused sister store, HomeGoods, at the same low prices.
Some shoppers noted that they found the signature Capri Blue scents available as lotions and body sprays in other sections of the store. But as can be the case with discount stores, others were frustrated to report that their local T.J. Maxx hadn’t received any of the coveted candles just yet.
