A SOFT play has been named the best in Scotland by the experts – parents.
The People’s Choice Awards took place in Glasgow last week to honour the very best of Scottish businesses, from restaurants to home improvements.

And taking top spot for Best Children’s Entertainment Venue was Play Planet Soft Play in Dunfermline.
With the winners chosen by real Scots, the soft play has been praised by mums and dads who say their kids never get bored at the venue.
The soft play has three sites across the country, with their two Dunfermline venues scooping the prestigious title.
Meanwhile, they have a new site in Hamilton too.
And the site is packed with great fun things for kids to play on from a giant yellow slide to a ball pool.
Area Manager Nick French was thrilled to pick up the gong.
He said: “We were happy and excited to win and have the award here in the Clubhouse centre.
“We have a great customer base who voted for us and we’re so happy they did.”
Parents took to social media to congratulate the team after the big win.

One said: “Superb – well done and so deserved.”
And another posted: “Well deserved! Spend most of the school holidays in both Dunfermline venues and my son never gets bored.”
Meanwhile, a third commented: “Congratulations! We love it here – well deserved.”
The event launched last year and this second edition again saw the public nominate their favourites before a vote on selected finalists decided the big winners and highly recommended on the night.
Other big winners also included Radisson RED Glasgow, which picked up the Best Hotel award as well as highly recommended for Best Employer, and The Malletsheugh in Newton Mearns which won Best Restaurant.
The event is another celebration from Paramount Creative, which also created and runs the Italian Awards, Scottish Fish and Chip Awards and Confetti Wedding Awards and more.
Warren Paul, CEO of Paramount, said: “This event feels like it has something really special – it seems to mean even more top the businesses honoured because they’re nominated and voted purely by the public.
“Knowing that this is driven entirely by the love and support of their customers clearly means the world to the business owners and their teams celebrating tonight.
“As with all of our events, these wins are a badge of honour and recognition that is so important in these tough times, when the cost of living is through the roof for all of us.
“It’s a privilege to be able to help recognise the hard work of people who do go above and beyond in business to ensure they give people true value for money – congratulations to all our winners and thank you to so very many members of the public for your votes.
“We couldn’t stage these events without our sponsors so of course thanks to the wonderful World Pay for their endless support.
“This event is going to grow and grow and we want to thank everyone for getting behind it, nominating and voting and showing the businesses who work so hard that those hours are worth it.”
