MAFS UK stars spark romance rumours with very cosy snap after bride’s split from groom and reunion

MAFS UK stars Terence Edwards and Tasha Jay have sparked romance rumours with a very cosy snap after her shock groom split and show reunion.

Terence, 40, posted an Instagram Story featuring Tasha, 27, where she’s seen placing her hand on his chest while he holds her waist and lower back in a tender embrace.

It comes fresh from her shock split with Paul Liba[/caption]

The DJ, who found fame in the 2023 series, wore a pink dinner jacket while childcare assistant Tasha stunned in a see-through black dress with floral embellishments.

Terence captioned the photo: “This one had her insta hacked so add her new insta people Gitstashajayxx.”

It comes on the heels of Tasha’s recent split from her show husband, Paul Liba.

The couple, who appeared on the 2023 series, announced their separation in November 2024 after a year-long relationship.

Tasha shared the news on Instagram, stating, “It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing Paul and I have decided to part ways.

“There isn’t any major reason; we have just come to terms with the fact that we are not right for each other.”

Following their split, it was revealed during a reunion special that Paul had begun a new relationship with fellow MAFS star Hannah Norburn.

This revelation led to a series of cryptic and seemingly critical posts from Tasha on her social media, indicating her displeasure with the situation.

One message read: “B***h stop acting innocent before I tell you something you ain’t think I knew.”

A second message, posted alongside a string of rat emojis, added: “I’m bad at arguing I’d rather slap the f**k outta you actually.”

A source previously told The Sun of the new relationship: “They’ve been secretly sneaking out on dates for a while and wanted to keep things under wraps but it all came out at the reunion filming.

“Nothing stays secret in the world of MAFS because everyone knows everyone.”

Hannah posted her own message, set to Is this Real Love? by Ninezz which read: “Be the woman who booked the flight, took the risks, made the money and lived the life she wanted.”

Currently, neither Paul nor Hannah have made an official comment about their new relationship.

Hannah appeared on the 2024 series, joining as a late bride, and had a disastrous time on the series after tying the knot with Stephen Nolson.

The pair’s relationship dissolved quickly – and it was only made worse when the girls of the group didn’t get along with her and Stephen admitted to fancying Sionainn Carmichael.

To confuse things further, Hannah clashed with Polly Sellman after she was accused of flirting with Sionainn’s husband Ryan Livesey.

Things ultimately completely imploded when Hannah found solace with another groom, Orson, even sharing a kiss with him after his marriage collapsed.

But by the reunion she made a reappearance and was revealed to be dating Ryan outside of the experiment.

The pair’s relationship dissolved quickly afterwards though, with a another reunion set to bring fireworks as they track the couples a year on from the show airing.

Mafs couples that have stood the test of time

Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.

The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.

Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.

Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.

Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”

Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.

Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.

“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.

“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’

“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”

Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.

Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.

They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.

Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
