Forget 2042’s Rendezook, Fans Have Come Up With the Helicopter Bayonet Charge For Battlefield 6 Trailer

There’s no denying the fact that Battlefield 2042 was one of the biggest disappointments in the franchise. However, it brings gamers those classic “Battlefield moments” in one way or the other. DICE featured the legendary iconic Rendezook play in the game’s cinematic trailer.

However, it’s time for EA and DICE to up their game. The community has created another legendary play in Battlefield: Hardline, and it’s going to be a real shame if it doesn’t get an official feature in the upcoming Battlefield 6 trailer.

Battlefield fans continue to push crazy plays

One of the best parts about the Battlefield franchise is that it gives gamers the right tools to create epic and memorable moments. Seriously, these player-created plays influence thousands of FPS players to push their imaginations and come up with new ways to deal with enemies.

Over on Battlefield‘s official subreddit, user jacrispyVulcano200 uploaded a 14-second clip where two helicopters are in a dogfight in Hardline. The player deals an incredible amount of damage to the enemy helicopter, and it seems like a sure-shot victory.

However, out of nowhere, an enemy helicopter rams into the player, forcing them to bail out and parachute on the ground. The enemy wasn’t afraid of using the classic bayonet charge, as they clearly lived by the idea that if I’m going down, you’re going down with me.

It’s been a while since EA teased the upcoming Battlefield game, and we still haven’t received a trailer for it. If the company is really looking to hype up the game and regain the lost ground, EA must consider something similar, like the helicopter bayonet charge.

The Battlefield game needs to be a smash-hit

We all know that 2042 was one of the most chaotic games. It debuted with tons of bugs that took the development team years to resolve, servers that didn’t load, and the game itself was just bland and boring. No one had asked for massive maps, 128-player counts, and other major changes.

After the failure of Battlefield V, gamers had hoped that the next title in the FPS franchise would allow it to return to form; however, it caused tremendous damage and left one of EA’s best IPs in a terrible state. EA can’t afford to bring another failed game.

It’s clear that EA is taking the next FPS title seriously. It’s been confirmed that four different studios are working on the upcoming game. DICE is working on multiplayer, Criterion Games is focusing on the single-player experience, and Ripple Effect is delivering a third mode.

The upcoming Battlefield game is said to have the longest development cycle we’ve ever seen in the entirety of the franchise’s history. EA has already created ways for players to provide crucial feedback leading up to the launch.

It’s clear that if the next Battlefield game doesn’t hit the mark, EA wouldn’t hesitate to bring an extended break for the franchise or, worse, put it to permanent sleep. The next game needs to bring gamers to the glory days of the franchise.

With that said, do you think the next Battlefield game needs to feature any other popular play? Let us know in the comments below.
