Mother of musician Okomfour Kwadee believes that his current situation was fueled by people who managed him in the past.
According to her, these people did not care about the effects of the use of drugs on her son.
Rather, they were only concerned about the money they could make from him performing at events.
“His managers are the reason why he turned out the way he did. They did not care about his health and sanity but rather about their money. They were making money off him while he came home with nothing.
Because he is not their family member, they did not care about him, and after they destroyed him, they left him for his family. I realized this is not helping him.
I know a musician who suffered a similar fate and stopped singing, and he feeds himself, so why can’t my son do the same? I realized the managers were taking advantage of him, so I stopped him from singing so that he works at getting well, and then he can really choose what he wants,” she said.
