‘Where can we get refunds?’ fume League of Ireland fans as LOITV ‘down again’ as viewers ‘want our money back’

LEAGUE of Ireland fans were left disappointed after LOITV suffered a temporary outage.

Supporters’ attempts to stream matches proved successful for a time on Friday night as they were greeted by a black screen.

An error message read: “The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.”

The issue appeared to be resolved towards the end of the first-half of many of the games.

This included the above, which was a stream for Wexford FC vs Bray Wanderers in the Airtricity League First Division.

However, they outage left many fans annoyed and asking how they could request to get their money back.

Alan quipped: “Would have been nice to see that [Keith] Buckley goal [for Bohemians against Cork City], but the LOITV server has utterly gimped out”

Dean lamented: “@LeagueofIreland can ye sort LOITV out lads, joke paying for it and it drops every few minutes!”

Gearoid asked: “@FAIreland any chance of providing enough servers for LOITV seeing as we are paying to watch the games ?”

Lee said: “You can watch LOI on bet365 but not LOITV because it’s down, can’t make this s*** up”

Patrick said: “i didnt pay to not be able to see games i want my money back #loitv”

The Irish Sun contacted the FAI and LOITV Support for comment.
