TWO Love Island stars have slammed “showmance” rumours after finally heading out on their first date since leaving the show.
Fans had expressed concerns that Sammy Root and Elma Pazar‘s blossoming relationship wasn’t real, after Sammy recently revealed they were yet to go on a date in the outside world.

However, Sammy has now shown that is no longer the case, by sharing a reel featuring Elma on his Instagram stores, which he captioned: “Date night”, and added a heart.
In his post Elma, 32, can be seen sitting in a swanky restaurant wearing a low-cut black top and jeans.
As 23-year-old Sammy films her, Elma picks up a glass of white wine from the marble table, and smiles at him.
Despite the pair previously starring together on Towie, some fans were covinced that their All Stars romance wasn’t real.
During an Instagram Q&A, one fan asked Sammy: “What’s yours and Elma’s upcoming plans?”
To which Sammy replied: “Life is very hectic at the moment for the both of us but we are hoping to have our own little date very soon.”
The pair have since returned to filming Towie, just a couple of weeks after arriving back in the UK.
After the final of the ITV dating show, Elma and Sammy both appeared on The Morning After podcast.
During the episode host Amy Hart questioned whether their budding relationship will continue to evolve on Towie.
Amy said: “In the ITV multiverse, you guys are Love Island and Towie crossover.
“You two are going to become the power couple of Towie!”
This prompted Elma to nod her head and say: “Yeah!”, while Sammy raised his hand and whooped at the suggestion.
This led some to ask whether becoming the “top reality couple of ITV” had been Sammy and Elma’s primary motivation all along.
During her time on All Stars, Elma came in for criticism, following her bitter feud with another contestant Ekin-Su.
After Ekin-Su had kissed all the boys, including Sammy, as part of a saucy striptease in the Heart Rate Challenge, Elma decided to confront the 30-year-old, who’d previously said she wouldn’t kiss Sammy.
A tearful Ekin-Su apologised for going against her word, and blamed her behaviour on having “blacked out”, while in character as the red devil.
But some fans thought Elma’s reaction was uncalled for, with one saying: “Elma thinks she is on towie not love island ..she is not a very nice person…she gives bully vibes..loves an argument.”
While another added: “Elma love island is not for you girl, Why so possessive, Sammy we know might likely still move mad before the show ends.”
