Aaron Paul has been a part of several projects, but it was Breaking Bad that truly pushed him toward Hollywood stardom. He played the role of Jesse Pinkman and worked alongside the main protagonist, Walter White, played by actor Bryan Cranston. But long before he stepped into the world of crime drama, he was a contestant on the popular CBS show The Price Is Right.

This happened in 2000, soon after he moved to Los Angeles to follow his dreams. In the show, contestants have to guess the prices of various products and merchandise to win a cash prize. Though Paul made it on stage, he ultimately lost his pricing game and overbid on his showcase. While he didn’t win the main prize, getting on stage was still a dream come true for him, especially when he met host Bob Barker.

As soon as his name was called, he was left surprised, and when he shook hands with the host excitedly, he said, “I’m touching Bob Barker.” The snippet of the same recently resurfaced on Instagram and has grabbed the attention of viewers.

While this video would surely be a delight for his fans, it showcases just how hard he has worked to make a name for himself in the industry. Not only this but in order to make ends meet, the actor also worked as a movie theater usher at Universal Studios in Hollywood. From minor roles, he gradually started getting the acknowledgment he deserved.

He was a part of Breaking Bad from 2008 to 2013 and won several accolades, including three Emmy Awards for his portrayal via Television Academy. Paul also reprised his role in the final season of the spin-off series Better Call Saul in 2022.

Apart from his professional endeavors, Aaron Paul is also a loving father and welcomed his second child in 2022. While this was definitely heartwarming for his fans, in an interview, he also revealed who his son’s godfather is, and Breaking Bad fans couldn’t be happier.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he shared that his longtime friend and Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston is his son’s godfather. He mentioned, “I asked Bryan on his birthday if he would be our baby’s godfather.” He then went on to detail how much he loved Cranston, saying, “He’s one of my best friends in the world, and it was just a no-brainer.”

A couple of months later, in 2022, Paul and his wife Lauren revealed that they had named their son Ryden Caspian Paul. Apart from Ryden, the couple also has a daughter named Story Annabelle.
