WITH Easter just around the corner many supermarkets are stocking chocolate eggs fan favourites – including a popular Cadbury one.
And an Irish influencer has tried out the new Cadbury Easter Bag from Dunnes Stores to reveal what’s included.
Clodagh Henderson, who posts under @clodaghhenderson on TikTok, shared the new Cadbury product for the Easter season with her followers.
Starting the video, she said: “I’m probably the only fool in the country that bought this bag for €9 in Dunnes Stores.
“So let’s see everything you can get and if it’s actually worth €9.”
She mentioned that the bag does look tempting to buy due to the size, and it looks like it contains a lot of yummy goodies.
However, Clodagh looked a bit unsure the moment she poured out the goodies.
The Cadbury Easter Bag contained four packs of mini eggs, three creme eggs and ten mini Dairy milk eggs.
She continued: “There’s like nothing in it!”
The influencer expressed her disappointment that the bag only contained three creme eggs and one of them was already opened.
But she was impressed that she got four packets of mini eggs, as all in one bag would cost approximately €6, which she believes is fair for the price.
Clodagh added: “Like when you actually split up everything, there is probably more than €9 worth of chocolate here.”
She caught that the bag stated that it contained 15 goodies, but she was in luck as her bag came with 17 delicious treats.
She added: “If you wanna buy everything, this is actually probably is worth €9.”
At Dunnes Stores, a pack of Mini Eggs Family Pack 270G currently cost €6 while the €2 Creme Egg Minis Chocolate Bag comes with three to four eggs.
The Dairy Milk Mini Chocolate Easter Egg Bag is priced at €2 and comes with seven eggs.
This totals up to €10 with three Dairy Milk mini eggs missing, meaning you get more value out of the €9 Cadbury Easter Bag.
‘WORTH THE PRICE’
Clodagh’s followers were left shocked by her haul and immediately rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts about the new Cadbury addition.
One person wrote: “Those eggs are like €1.15 each!”
Another person added: “Not bad! Chocolate prices have gone up a lot recently.”
The third person said: “That’s worth the price.”
Another person wrote: “€9 isn’t bad for what most things are costing these days.”
