HOLLYWOOD legend Gene Hackman may have lay dead for nine days before his body was discovered alongside his wife Betsy Arakawa, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office revealed.
During a press conference on Thursday, Sheriff Adan Mendoza said the Oscar-winning actor was last recorded alive on February 17 — the last event logged on his pacemaker.

Neighbours reportedly spotted the couple’s bodies through a window before raising the alarm.
When officers arrived at their Santa Fe home on February 27, they found Hackman, 95, Arakawa, 65, and one of their pet dogs dead in separate rooms.
