The Ghana Fire Service has retrieved a decomposed body of a young woman at Sunyani Magazine.
A report by the Ghana Fire Service said Sunyani Municipal Fire Station, led by Station Officer Yahaya and later joined by Regional Operations Officer DO II Noekor, responded to the distress call at 5:30 PM.
According to the report, the victim may have been murdered by her boyfriend and dumped into a septic tank approximately three weeks ago.
In his attempt to conceal the crime, he dropped her lifeless body in the underground chamber.
The suspect has since been arrested by the Police. Also, the police have taken charge of the dead body for further investigation.
The body which was retrieved has left the persons in the community in a state of shock but local enforcement agencies have promised to ensure they bring finality to the matter and bring the suspect to book.
