COPS are desperately hunting for two men suspected to be involved in an acid attack with no arrests made after a week.
Emergency services rushed to a property on Lipson Road in Plymouth, just before 4am on February 21 after reports of a disturbance.
Devon and Cornwall Police said two men forced their way into the property and used acid to assault a man in his 30s.
The victim remains in a serious condition in hospital.
Det Supt John Bancroft said the suspects, both described as black males in their early 20s, were no longer believed to be in Wiltshire.
He added: “This is a large-scale investigation, and we are working really closely with partner agencies including the National Crime Agency to locate the suspects.
“This was a brutal and terrifying attack on a man who remains in a very serious condition.
“His family are continuing to be supported by our specialist officers.
“This was an isolated and targeted attack, which we believe is related to organised crime.”
