Love is Blind Season 8 Episodes 10-12 Recap — One Couple Bites the Dust

We are inching closer to finding out who will walk down the aisle and say I do in Season 8 of Love is Blind. The newly engaged couples have gone from the pods to paradise to mix and mingle with family to determine if they want to marry. This week’s episode was full of surprises, with the one couple calling it quits, the return of the singles from the pods, and the beginning of the wedding ceremonies. We share our thoughts on Love is Blind Season 8, episodes 10-12, and predictions of what will happen at the altar.

We had our first couple of the season bite the dust with Dave and Lauren finally biting the bullet. This was as expected, and it took far too long to get here because Dave acted shady throughout this experiment. The reunion should be spicy because Dave should be in the hot seat with Nick and Vanessa, and hopefully, they will grill him.

On the flip side, we saw the singles from the pods who didn’t get engaged arrive to mix and mingle. We saw Meg and Mason show up hand in hand. The duo apparently stalked each other’s Instagram, followed by meeting up, and things have been good since. My favorite from the pods, Madison, came back guns blazing, spilling the tea about how Alex attempted to slide into her DMs after seeing what she looked like. She rightfully told him to pound sand.

Joey and Monica

Our favorite Minnesotians settled the score with a conversation with Monica’s sister, who took some engagement photos of the duo. This was a sigh of relief for Monica, as her sister realized that the duo were meant for one another. On their final date together, Monica mentioned that Joey hadn’t been 100% invested in his decision, making her want to hold back a little.

During this conversation, it was the first time we really had any hiccups between these two, but I am still confident that my favorite couples since Brett and Tiffany Brown will say I do at the altar.

Odds of getting married: 100%

Devin and Virginia

Virginia and Devin are a mystery I have not been sure I can solve for a long time. However, I realized Virginia is someone who has big-picture thinking and sees the world in a much different light than Devin. It’s almost as if Devin sees the world daily, which is one reason why this connection doesn’t seem as strong.

After the prenup caused a slight uproar, Devin agreed to sign it without any hesitation. Heading into the finale of Love is Blind, this is one of the most puzzling couples ever on the show. I don’t foresee them getting married to Virginia saying no.

Ben and Sara

Ben’s questionable stance on social issues was a red flag that I don’t think Sara will be able to overcome on wedding day. After going to one of the services at Ben’s Church and listening to one of them on her phone, she doesn’t love their stance on LGBTQ. Although Ben was open to going to other churches, he didn’t FEEL like he was in the moment with her or even attempting to be on the same page.

At the end of this batch, we saw Ben and Sara at the altar, with Sara being asked first if she would say I do, and I don’t feel very confident in that happening. Although these two meshed on many things together, the social issues proved to be the most significant thing Sara can’t overcome, and she says, “I don’t.”

Odds of getting married: 100%

Taylor and Daniel

The couple started with a rough patch and became a dynamic duo. Taylor and Daniel are electric together, proving within each batch that they are getting stronger and stronger. Their final date went off without any hitches, and I don’t see anything stopping these two from saying I do at the altar. I am all in on these two and can’t wait to see them at the reunion and see how great life has been for the couple.

Odds of getting married: 100%
