WWE has been the home of some of the greatest superstars in the world. Among them, the global juggernaut has seen an influx of many talented and remarkable athletes who changed the game and paved the way for future generations to succeed.
Across various generations, the company has seen legends like Jacqueline, Lita, Torrie Wilson, Trish Stratus, Michelle McCool and stars of today like Bayley, Alexa Bliss, Naomi and Bianca Belair become trailblazers for the Women’s Revolution. But there are three important names also at the top of this conversation.

Those illustrious names are WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus and bonafie future Hall of Famers and historic rivals Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. But on the contrary, WWE and certain illustrious media outlets who rank women for their contributions in the business over the years have a different opinion in regards to the top spot occupied by those women.
What led to the belief that WWE doesn’t think Becky Lynch is the Greatest Female Wrestler of all time?

In a recent ranking released by Sports Illustrated for the Greatest Female Wrestler of All Time, the media outlet chose Becky Lynch as the top name. However, WWE has a completely different opinion and doesn’t see The Man to be acknowledged as the greatest of all time in women’s wrestling.
WWE.com also released a new list of Top 50 Greatest Women Superstars in their images section. It was interesting to note that Becky Lynch was placed at the #3 spot, with WWE preferring to put Charlotte Flair and Trish Stratus at the #2 and #1 spots, respectively.
Trish Stratus is one of the early trailblazers of the business who paved the way for better opportunities for women like Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. She is a seven-time WWE Women’s Champion, a Hall of Fame inductee and has proven that she can still go inside the ring with the women of today at the highest level. This might cement the claim of WWE placing her at the number one spot on their list.
On the other hand, Charlotte Flair is considered to be one of the greatest women’s wrestlers of all time. She has been credited for her impressive in-ring acumen and the legacy she brings as the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, who has his own biggest regret in wrestling despite his legendary status.

Moreover, Flair holds the record for most female World Championship wins with 14, and even surpassing many male stars like Randy Orton, The Rock, and Brock Lesnar. This could have been the justification for Flair to occupy the second spot in WWE’s list, putting her and Trish above the worldwide appeal of The Man.
Are those three women going to be a part of the road to WrestleMania 41?

Among Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Trish Stratus, only The Queen’s path is clear on the road to WrestleMania 41. Flair made her return after over a year at the 2025 Royal Rumble event and won the Women’s Rumble match. Weeks later, she chose Tiffany Stratton as her opponent for a WWE Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania in Las Vegas this year.
Trish Stratus, on the other hand, is gearing up to return for a big match in her hometown of Toronto, Canada. She will team up with Tiffany Stratton to battle the team of Nia Jax and Candice LeRae at the upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.
As for Becky Lynch, she has been absent from WWE TV since May 2024. She was expected to return at RAW’s debut on Netflix, featuring multiple stars and celebrities, but she has not returned since. This leaves The Man’s status up in the air, with many wondering if she would compete at the Show of Shows this year.
