GARY NEVILLE has slammed the management of Manchester United as an “absolute s****fest”.
The club sit 15th in the Premier League after losing 12 of their 27 games.

The club’s cumulative debt has grown to £1billion since the Glazers took over 20 years ago[/caption]
Away from the pitch has been an even worse showing, with Man Utd announcing they would be laying off up to 200 more staff after sacking 250 last summer.
Meanwhile, figures revealed in the Red Devils’ 2025 Q2 financial report showed the cumulative net debt since the Glazers took over the club 20 years ago was over £1billion.
However, there have also been controversial decisions made in the year since Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos took his minority stake in the club, not least the £14.5million it cost to sack Erik ten Hag, his staff and Dan Ashworth.
Cuts have also been made by trimming a number of benefits including Christmas bonuses, closing the staff canteen and cancelling charitable donations, while a raise in concession tickets prices to a £66 flat rate was also widely unpopular.
And speaking on Stick To Football, brought to you by Sky Bet, Neville, 50, slammed the position the club were in due to this woeful mismanagement.
The eight-time Premier League winner said: “About three years ago, I said that United needed to bring money in.
“It was a car crash waiting to happen. The club’s finances are shot, absolutely shot to pieces.
“The debt, the recruitment’s been reckless, the increase in staff from 600 up to 1,200, which is just unbelievable, the lack of Champions League football, which is £30, 40, 50 million a year, it’s an absolute mess.
“The club has run out of cash. What you now see are desperate decisions.
“Some of them I think are needed, some are bad.
“You don’t remove food off people at Old Trafford, you don’t take £40K off the ex-players.
“And to be fair, (the sacking of) Dan Ashworth was a mess, because that’s someone you’ve chased for eight months and you get rid of after three months, that’s a shocker and that’s £4m.
“But this is a culmination of absolute s****fest of management from the Glazers.
“To the point whereby a £1bn has been paid off in interest, the club has dipped off in terms of performance, cash flow, profit – it’s lost £300m in three years.
“Man United used to be the most profitable football club – in 2018 they had £350m in the bank. From that point on now, I think (Ratcliffe’s) Ineos put in £300m and there’s not much of that left.”
Co-star Ian Wright went so far as to suggest the Glazers made it seem like the club was “being scammed”.
Man Utd ratings vs Ipswich as Maguire saves the day after Onana makes case to be WORST ever signing

MANCHESTER UNITED eased their fears of the drop in a topsy-turvy relegation six-pointer with Ipswich.
The Red Devils triumphed 3-2 despite playing the second half with ten men.
A major cock-up from Patrick Dorgu and Andre Onana saw Ipswich take a third-minute lead through Jaden Philogene.
Then, after United had recovered to lead 2-1, Dorgu saw a straight red card for a poor challenge on Omari Hutchinson.
Philogene scored again to level it before the break only for Harry Maguire to nod in to be United’s saviour.
But who was United’s best player on the night?
Here, SunSport’s Phil Thomas reveals his Manchester United player ratings…
Neville’s rant came shortly before Roy Keane launched into an explosive rant of his own aimed at the players, singling club captain Bruno Fernandes.
The 53-year-old said: “You go back to the recruitment and the team. Show a bit of fight, a bit of speed, a bit of quality in your play.
“They draw at Everton and it’s like they’ve won the cup. It’s f***ing bizarre.
“Even the fans. I see fans at matches, and they sing for Bruno [Fernandes]. I see these boys, I think they’re f***ing imposters.”
Man Utd secured a narrow 3-2 win over Ipswich at Old Trafford on Wednesday despite being down to ten men for the entire second half after Patrick Dorgu was sent off.
The win saw them jump from 15th to 14th place on to 33 points, the same tally as Tottenham and West Ham, who are above and below them due to respective on goal difference.
Ruben Amorim’s side face Fulham in the FA Cup fifth round in their next game this Sunday.
Roy Keane’s angriest moments

What really ticks off Roy Keane?
The Irishman is known for his no-nonsense approach to football.
And some particular things really do get on Keane’s wick.
It all makes for great entertainment for fans, who love the Man United legend’s take on the beautiful game.
But is Keane being a bit too sensitive himself?
From smiling players to ABBA, nothing is sacred.
And we all know about his dislike for a prawn sarnie…
