1. Deli Boys (Complete Season 1) – March 6

Let us tell you about this hilarious new comedy series that’s about to become your next binge obsession. Deli Boys follows two pampered Pakistani American brothers who’ve had everything handed to them on a silver platter—until their convenience store-magnate father suddenly kicks the bucket. Talk about a rude awakening!

But here’s where it gets juicy: these privileged bros discover that dear old dad had a secret life of crime. Now they’re forced to figure out how to fill his shoes in the underworld while having absolutely no idea what they’re doing.

Created by Abdullah Saeed and developed by the talented duo of Jenni Konner and Nora Silver, this 10-episode series brings the laughs while exploring family legacies, cultural identity, and the criminal underworld through a fresh lens.

The chemistry between Asif Ali (playing Mir) and Saagar Shaikh (as Raj) is absolutely spot-on (as we can spot in the trailer), with stellar supporting performances from Poorna Jagannathan as Lucky, Alfie Fuller as Prairie, and the legendary Brian George as Ahmad.

If you’re looking for a comedy that blends cultural insights with fish-out-of-water humor, Deli Boys is going to be right up your alley.

2. Last Take: Rust and the Story of Halyna (Documentary) – March 11

You’ve probably heard about the tragic accident on the Rust movie set, but this deeply personal documentary goes way beyond the sensationalized headlines we’ve all seen. Last Take: Rust and the Story of Halyna gives us an intimate look at the life, creative vision, and heartbreaking death of celebrated indie cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who lost her life in that terrible accident in 2021.

What makes this doc so special is that it’s directed by Rachel Mason, who was actually a close friend of Hutchins, giving us a perspective we haven’t seen before. Instead of focusing on the tabloid frenzy that surrounded the case, Mason brings us the human story—the real one that got lost in all the media chaos.

She’s gathered incredibly moving accounts from the people who were actually on the Rust set that fateful day, alongside a thorough examination of the official safety investigations. The documentary doesn’t shy away from the difficult questions, exploring the emotional and moral aftermath that everyone involved continues to grapple with.

Through court records, behind-the-scenes footage, and unprecedented access to Halyna’s personal archives, Last Take does something truly remarkable—it reclaims Halyna’s narrative, honoring her incredible talent and legacy while creating a space for genuine healing. If you’re looking for substance over scandal, this documentary delivers in spades.

3. Control Freak (Film Premiere) – March 13

Calling all horror junkies! You’re going to want to mark March 13 on your calendars with a big red X because Control Freak is about to scratch an itch you didn’t even know you had. This nail-biter from writer-director Shal Ngo takes something completely innocuous—an itch—and transforms it into pure nightmare fuel.

The story follows Valerie, brilliantly played by Kelly Marie Tran, a put-together motivational speaker whose life starts unraveling when she develops a maddening, persistent itch on the back of her head. But this isn’t just dry skin or stress—oh no, it’s so much worse. What starts as a minor irritation spirals into a full-blown fight for survival as Valerie must confront a parasitic demon from her homeland.

Miles Robbins brings a perfect balance of skepticism and concern as Valerie’s husband Robbie, who watches helplessly as his wife descends into what he initially believes is madness.

The supporting cast is equally impressive, with standout performances from Callie Johnson, veteran actress Kieu Chinh, and Zack Gold. What’s particularly cool about this film is its origin story—it actually evolved from Ngo’s short film Control, which caught attention in the second season of Hulu‘s Bite Size Halloween anthology.

Ngo has expanded that concept into a full-length feature that blends cultural horror elements with psychological tension, creating something that feels both fresh and deeply unsettling. If you like your horror with a side of cultural commentary and existential dread, Control Freak is going to be right up your dark alley.

4. Bill Burr: Drop Dead Years (Special Premiere) – March 14

Oh man, are you ready for this? The one and only Bill Burr is back with a brand new hour of comedy that might just be his most revealing yet. In Drop Dead Years, the redheaded rage machine we all know and love takes a surprisingly introspective turn while still delivering those brutal truth bombs that have made him a stand-up legend.

What’s particularly fascinating about this special is how Burr manages to dive into topics like male sadness (something he’s touched on before but never quite like this) and offers his uniquely hilarious perspective on dating advice that’ll have you both laughing and uncomfortably nodding in agreement.

Whether he’s ranting about his own personal demons or picking apart the absurdities of modern relationships, Burr brings that signature no-BS approach that’s made him one of the greatest working comedians today.

This special marks one of the first releases in Hulu’s brilliant new stand-up brand Hularious (see what they did there?), which will be dropping a new comedy special each month.

If you’ve followed Burr’s podcast or previous specials, you already know you’re in for a treat—and if you’re new to his comedy, well, buckle up, buttercup! Just don’t watch it with your easily offended relatives… unless you’re into family drama, in which case, pop some corn and enjoy the show!

5. Good American Family (Series Premiere) – March 19

Okay, we need to talk about Good American Family because this limited series is about to become the show everyone’s discussing around the virtual water cooler. Inspired by a truly disturbing true story (you know, the kind that makes you go “wait, that ACTUALLY happened?”), this gripping drama follows a seemingly picture-perfect Midwestern couple who adopt a girl with a rare form of dwarfism.

Sounds like a heartwarming family tale, right? Well, hold onto your remote, because things take a wildly unsettling turn when they begin raising her alongside their three biological children and start noticing… inconsistencies. Little by little, mysteries about her age and background begin to surface, leading to the chilling suspicion that she might not be who she claims to be at all (Orphan flashbacks, anyone?).

What makes this series particularly fascinating is how it’s structured—we get to experience the story from multiple perspectives, which brilliantly explores all the messy complexities of bias, trauma, and how different people perceive the same events.

Grey’s Anatomy veteran Ellen Pompeo trades in her scrubs for suburban mom clothes as she stars alongside the always-excellent Mark Duplass and remarkable newcomer Imogen Faith Reid in the lead roles.

The supporting cast is equally impressive, with Dulé Hill, Christina Hendricks (giving serious Mad Men nostalgia), Sarayu Blue, and Jenny O’Hara appearing as recurring guest stars who each bring new dimensions to this twisted family drama.

Behind the scenes, the show’s in expert hands with Katie Robbins as creator and executive producer, while acclaimed documentarian Liz Garbus (who knows a thing or two about telling true stories) directed the pilot episode. Trust us, this is going to be one of those shows you’ll want to watch the moment it drops so you can avoid the inevitable spoilers.

6. Hyper Knife (Series Premiere, Subbed and Dubbed) – March 19

If you’ve been sleeping on Korean dramas, Hyper Knife is your wake-up call. This addictive new medical crime thriller is about to combine two of television’s most beloved genres in a way that’ll have you glued to your screen.

The incredible Park Eun-bin (who you might recognize from Extraordinary Attorney Woo) stars as Jeong Se-ok, a brilliant neurosurgeon whose career takes a dramatic nosedive after being expelled by her mentor. But instead of giving up, she goes underground—literally—working as a shadow doctor in a secret surgery clinic. Talk about a career change!

The mentor who kicked her out? That would be Choi Deok-hee, played masterfully by veteran actor Sul Kyung-gu, whose gravitas and complexity bring serious depth to this character.

When these two medical minds inevitably cross paths again, what erupts isn’t just professional tension—it’s a full-blown emotional powder keg. According to Sul himself,

When I read the script for Hyper Knife for the first time, I was very amazed by this very strange and weird relationship between Se-ok and Deok-hee. They are teacher and apprentice, but this script provided a very different dynamic that I have ever seen.

The layers of complicated history and a messy love-hate connection makes for absolutely riveting television.

The series also features rising star Yoon Chan-young and the always-compelling Park Byung-eun, rounding out an ensemble cast that delivers powerhouse performances across the board. And don’t worry if Korean isn’t your strong suit—Hulu’s got you covered with both subtitled and dubbed versions, so you can enjoy this high-stakes medical drama however you prefer.

If you’re a fan of shows like Grey’s Anatomy or The Good Doctor but crave something with a darker, more thrilling edge, Hyper Knife is about to become your new obsession.

7. O’Dessa (Film Premiere) – March 20

Ready for something completely different? O’Dessa is about to blow your mind with its wildly imaginative premise. Everyone’s favorite Stranger Things redhead, Sadie Sink, is stepping into a whole new world—and showing off some serious pipes—in this genre-bending musical set in a post-apocalyptic landscape.

Sink plays the titular O’Dessa, a determined young woman who leaves the safety of her family farm to embark on a quest to recover a missing heirloom that holds significant meaning for her family.

But this isn’t just your standard “find the MacGuffin” adventure—it takes a romantic turn when O’Dessa finds herself in a strange, otherworldly city and falls head over heels in love.

Here’s where things get really interesting: when her love interest’s soul is in danger, O’Dessa discovers that her voice holds a power beyond just hitting the high notes—it might literally be the key to saving his soul. As she puts it in the trailer,

My daddy used to tell me my singing had the power to bring light to the darkness and change things.

Director Geremy Jasper (who gave us the criminally underrated Patti Cake$) brings his unique visual style and musical sensibility to this ambitious project.

The stellar supporting cast includes the phenomenally talented Kelvin Harrison Jr. (who shares some genuinely sweet moments with Sink), The White Lotus standout Murray Bartlett, and the always magnificent Regina Hall.

With its unexpected fusion of post-apocalyptic themes, earnest romance, and the transformative power of music, O’Dessa is shaping up to be not just one of the most original films on Hulu this month, but possibly one of the most distinctive movies of the year.

8. Mid-Century Modern (Complete Season 1) – March 28

You guys, we’re already obsessed with Mid-Century Modern, and it hasn’t even premiered yet! This fabulous multi-camera comedy comes from the powerhouse creative team of Max Mutchnick and David Kohan (the geniuses behind Will & Grace) along with Ryan Murphy (do we even need to list his credits?).

The premise is both heartwarming and hilarious: after an unexpected death shakes up their world, three gay gentlemen “of a certain age” make the delightfully practical decision to spend their golden years living together in Palm Springs. Oh, and did we mention they’re roomies with the wealthy one’s mother? Because that’s definitely happening, and it’s going to be comedy gold.

Speaking of gold, the cast is absolutely stellar. The legendary Nathan Lane (bringing all his Broadway-honed comedic timing) stars as Bunny Schneiderman, the wealthy one of the trio. The impossibly handsome Matt Bomer plays Jerry Frank, while the scene-stealing Nathan Lee Graham rounds out the threesome as Arthur Broussard.

In a particularly poignant casting choice, the incomparable Linda Lavin appears in her final role before her passing last December, playing Sybil Schneiderman, Bunny’s straight-talking mother who surely delivers some of the show’s best zingers.

As if that main cast weren’t enough to have you setting your calendar alerts, the guest star lineup reads like a comedy all-star team: Pamela Adlon, Vanessa Bayer, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Judd Hirsch, Richard Kind, Billie Lourd, Cheri Oteri, Rhea Perlman… The list could go on, but you get the idea.

This is going to be a laugh-out-loud celebration of chosen family, proving that no matter how hard things get, there’s always someone around to remind you it would be better if you got your neck done. With its witty dialogue, stellar performances, and a fresh take on aging and friendship, Mid-Century Modern is poised to become your new comfort-watch comedy.

Phew! What a lineup, right? Hulu is seriously not playing around this March with this incredible mix of originals. From laugh-out-loud comedies and heart-wrenching documentaries to mind-bending musicals and edge-of-your-seat thrillers, there’s literally something for everyone—no matter what mood you’re in.

The streaming wars are heating up, and Hulu is clearly bringing some serious firepower to the battle this month. So grab your favorite snacks, claim your spot on the couch, and get ready for some quality viewing time.
