President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has painted a gloomy picture of the Ghanaian economy.
According to him, the state of the economy is not so good.
He explains that the people of Ghana are suffering unprecedented suffering in a very bad economy.
However, he was not brought to power to complain but rather to find solutions to the challenges faced by the people of Ghana.
The President, who was delivering his first State of the Nation Address, said he has accepted the challenge and will fix the problems.
He mentioned that in the coming days, the Economic Forum and the reading of the country’s budget will provide the people of Ghana with a fair idea of the kind of economy that was bequeathed to him by the previous government.
“I am sad to report that the state of the nation is not good. Our economy is in crisis and our people are suffering unprecedentedly,” he said.
Adding that “it is not my style to lament and shift blame when confronted with challenges. My approach is to accept challenges and resolve them. This is what the people of Ghaa voted me to do.”
