People have been sharing their sale finds on social media[/caption]
This is despite the official start of spring on Saturday, March 1.
So if you’re after a cosy jacket to get you through the unexpected freeze, you’ve come to the right place.
For the bargain price of £5, it’s even worth stashing away until autumn.
Fashion fans have been sharing their cheap finds on social media.
Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, which boasts 2.6million members, one shopper revealed she got a £38 brown faux leather jacket with fleece lining in the sale.
She said: “Such a cute jacket for £5! Primark Aberdeen store.”
Another fashionista bagged a tan faux suede jacket with sheepskin lining that was “£5 down from £38 in Primark today”.
And a third spotted a rack full of distressed faux leather bomber jackets in the Clydebank store, near Glasgow.
She said: “They had these leather jackets on sale for just £5 so of course I had to pick one up.
“How the hell can that have been £34 reduced to a fiver? They had so many sizes.
“When you see something for £5 you can’t pass it up.”
Unsurprisingly, other bargain hunters are now racing to find the jackets in their nearest store.
“I’ve been on the hunt for that jacket in my size”, cried one.
A second wrote: “Been looking all over for this leather jacket.”
“Need that jacket”, insisted a third.
Meanwhile, a fourth added: “Bargain, great jacket.”
The sale bargains come as Primark is set to add a new service at 186 stores by summer that shoppers will love.
The bargain fashion and homeware brand is rolling out Click and Collect to hundreds of sites across the UK.
Click and Collect lets shoppers order clothes from the budget fashion brand online and then pick them up in-store.
It first launched as part of a trial in November 2022 and has proved popular amongst shoppers.
Lovers of the brand will be able to shop a range of lines including women’s, men’s, kids clothing and homeware.
The brand ramped up its roll out of the offering late last year and it is expected that all of its stores will have the feature by this summer.
There is no fee to use Click and Collect, but you must spend a minimum of £10.
It means customers can avoid the disappointment of arriving in stores and not being able to find the correct size or product they were looking for.
You can also skip the queues and choose the day you would like to collect your item.
Unlike traditional online shopping, you must come into a Primark store to pick up your items as they will not be delivered to your home.
Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it’s down to four points.
- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.
