Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, were found dead in their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Gene and Betsy were found deceased inside of their home on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 26. Gene was 95 years old at the time of his passing, while Betsy was 64.
“This is an active investigation – however, at this time we do not believe that foul play was a factor,” police told the Santa Fe New Mexican on Thursday, February 27.
