Love Island’s Mollie Smith and Tom Clare splash out on a gym at huge new home – and share how they spent £50k prize

LOVE Island stars Molly Smith and Tom Clare are splashing out on a gym at their huge new home – and they’ve also spent their £50k prize money after winning the show.

The couple have gone from strength to strength after winning the very first series of Love Island All Stars, in 2024.

And just shortly after the show, they celebrated an exciting milestone as they bought a huge new home together and let fans in on the news as they ran around their garden, Champagne in hand, as their adorable dog Nelly chased them.

Now, Molly, 30, has revealed that she and Tom have splashed their £50k Love Island winnings on their new home – and are even adding a gym.

The couple, who are ambassadors for Gtech UK, told The Sun: “So we’ve got the kitchen done now and we’re going to start doing the gym next month.

“It makes sense to have a gym as we’re so into our fitness, and we’ve had a vision with the home from the start.”

Molly added: “I follow loads of home accounts on Instagram, and I’ll go on and pick and be like ‘yeah I like that,’ and get inspiration that way.”

Discussing their show winnings, they added: “We’ve spent the money and it all went to the house.

“We did wait and we saved it, but then obviously we found the house and wanted it.

“And you don’t realise until you come to do it just how expensive renovation is, and it all adds up.”

The reality star couple have been using some of the snazzy Gtech products too, to give the home a glow up, including their pooch Nelly a little wooden house.

Molly told us: “The products, including the drill, have become really handy.

“And Tom and I actually get on really well when we’re doing DIY, but we do differ. So if we’re doing a flat pack for example, Tom will read the instructions whereas I’ll just go for it.”

The proud couple shared the first pictures of the stunning property in summer of last year, before they completely overhauled it.

The three bed, three bathroom pad features a large kitchen, games room and some rather outdated décor.

But the outdated décor is set to become a thing of the past, now the full reno is underway.

Their exciting home update comes after Tom called Molly ‘the one’ in a chat with The Sun last year.

He said at the time: “I’ve met The One.

“Yeah, she’s she’s amazing. There’s no other girl I ever wanna be with.”

He added: “She’s just levels above anyone and everyone.

“So she’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a girl. We just bounce for each other. We get on. I have no fault.

“I always said to her, there must be something wrong with you. There must be something.”
