Disgraced rapper P Diddy who’s currently neck deep in controversies has been shockingly making headlines for his family planning. Being a father of 7 children, while the music mogul was expected to be contented, reports suggest how he actually wanted his eighth kid with ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
Before his abusive behavior ended his relationship with Cassie Ventura, P Diddy had apparently hoped to have one more child with the singer. Speaking with The Breakfast Club in 2018, the rapper addressed his fatherhood aspirations and his plans to start a family with Ventura. But unfortunately, his plans never worked out.

Although the rapper and music mogul P Diddy has never truly been interested in tying the knot and settling down with one woman for the rest of his life, he has been surprisingly fond of the aspect of fatherhood. Having 7 children with four different women, one might think he was satisfied. But back in 2018, Diddy admitted to having different plans.
Speaking with The Breakfast Club, the rapper opened up about his desire to have baby number eight with his girlfriend at the time, Cassie Ventura. Addressing his fatherhood dreams, Diddy had openly talked about his interest in expanding his family with Ventura and hoping for her to be the fifth baby mama.
Without a doubt, I love children. I could go to eight without a problem. Can’t stop, won’t stop. Whatever is supposed to happen in the future is going to happen, but that’s something that I want.
However, things didn’t turn out the way he had hoped. Not long after, their relationship came to an end, and all those family plans vanished. In the years that followed, shocking allegations about Diddy’s abusive behavior towards Cassie Ventura surfaced, while the singer made headlines for having a child with her husband and former personal trainer Alex Fine.
P Diddy and Cassie Ventura never intended on marrying
While P Diddy was talking about expanding his family with Cassie Ventura, one might assume that the rapper had secret plans of tying the knot with her. But surprisingly Diddy felt like having a baby with Ventura was more likely than him settling down with the singer. So, while family plans left fans speculating about wedding bells, the couple remained silent on the topic.
Believing that he was not ready for such a deep and long-term commitment while dating her, P Diddy had thus refrained from marrying the singer. During his interview on The View (via Vibe), the rapper once again clarified that he wasn’t in a rush to get married, since he was content with the relationship he had with Cassie Ventura.
I think a lot of people put too much on marriage and not enough on happiness… I’m happy, anybody that is in my life is happy. I just want to be happy and I think it’s important for you to protect your happiness and to love yourself, because then you can love other people the right way.
Following Diddy’s comments, Cassie Ventura appeared throwing subtle shade at the rapper, by stating how she believed in marriage with the right person, because the prospect of lifetime commitment isn’t everybody’s cup of tea. So, later on, while Ventura found love with personal trainer Alex Fine and got married, Diddy remained true to his words of staying a bachelor forever.
