WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” has been in charge of the company alongside Nick Khan. He has produced some of the most compelling and captivating storylines over the last year. One of those intriguing stories on SmackDown relates to tag team partners Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.
Jade Cargill made her WWE debut in the 2024 Royal Rumble PLE. After her official signing as a SmackDown star, she began teaming up with Bianca Belair, and the duo formed a cohesive unit. This led them to have a remarkable run as a team and even become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions on two separate occasions.
However, the storyline took an interesting turn when Jade Cargill was found to be mysteriously attacked backstage on an edition of SmackDown in November 2024. This has led to speculations regarding the attacker, with many fans accusing Bianca Belair of being behind the assault. This has presented Triple H with the chance to pull a swerve and present the revelation of the attacker drawing inspiration from one of his own storylines.

In a segment that looked like their D-Generation X reunion, The Game attacked Michaels in a major shocker. He continued to berate Michaels for weeks, until that one time when HBK was found attacked backstage.
This led to a supposed change of heart in Triple H, who vowed to find out the attacker. Shawn Michaels appeared on RAW via satellite to reveal security footage of his attack. As he played the video, it was revealed that the attacker was none other than Triple H himself.
At that moment, The Cerebral Assasin admitted to his crime and this led to their infamous ‘Unsanctioned Street Fight’ at WWE SummerSlam that year. Triple H can recreate a similar segment regarding Jade Cargill’s attack. WWE can announce that Cargill will be making her first appearance via satellite on SmackDown in a week during the road to WrestleMania 41.
Bianca Belair and her current partner, Naomi, would be in the ring to learn more about Cargill’s attack on herself. Jade would reveal that she did not see the attacker, but WWE obtained security footage, which would then play. This would make the revelation it was indeed The EST of WWE to attack her own partner after being in denial for months. Moreover, one fan on X predicted that it would indeed play out this way due to Bianca being jealous of the hype and rise of Jade Cargill last year.

Much like Triple H did, Bianca Belair would shockingly turn heel, admit to her crime, and even take down Naomi, who would also be surprised that Belair would do such a thing. This could be the start of the feud between Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, culminating in a match at WrestleMania 41.
What is the latest update regarding Jade Cargill’s return timeline to WWE?
Jade Cargill has been reportedly training in the WWE Performance Center for her return. In a recent report by PWInsider, after Bianca Belair and Naomi dropped the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriquez on RAW this week, the focus would now shift back to the Jade Cargill attack storyline.
In regards to her return, the report stated that The Storm of WWE is expected to return to television programming very soon. It could possibly happen as early as the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE, taking place in Toronto, Canada this Saturday.
Jade Cargill has been one of the top prospects of Triple H and not a part of the stars who he has seemingly given up on. With her return reportedly on the horizon, a match between Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 41 would be nothing short of a blockbuster showdown.
