A Magistrate Court has exonerated popular singer Naira Marley and three others from any involvement in the death of Afrobeats artist Mohbad.
Magistrate Ejiro Kubenje, who presided over the case, dismissed any claims linking Naira Marley, music promoter Sam Larry, Owodunni Ibrahim (Primeboy), and Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde, to the tragedy.
However, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has directed that Mohbad’s auxiliary nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, and his friend, Ayobami Sadiq, be prosecuted for reckless and negligent acts under Lagos State’s criminal laws.
