Marvel Rivals has been rolling in a lot of new characters lately and the most recent update introduced, The Thing and Human Torch to the game. However, this time around, the developer has placed clues in the game’s world through a voice line confirming the arrival of yet another fan-favorite character.
Two major voice lines from Wolverine and Psylocke talk about Emma Frost, first introduced in the comics back in 1980 as a villainous member of the Hellfire Club and later joining the X-Men.

With the massive influx of duelists in Marvel Rivals, Frost, for a change might be introduced in a different role. Her diamond form and telepathic abilities make her the perfect pick as a strategist since she could help he teammates out by blocking out attacks by absorbing damage and stunning enemies.
Her passive might grant people a movement and health boost for a limited period, as she stuns her enemies by turning them into a hard rock of ice, similarly her other abilities could focus on helping her teammates teleport out of the difficult situation and her ultimate might briefly grant a huge health and movement boost to her allies while stunning all the enemies in her vicinity.
She could be a diverse character that can fill in others roles too, with the right combination of characters there are a lot of things that Frost will be able to do in the game, making her a key addition.

Fans are already very excited about welcoming Frost to the game. Her arrival seems nearer now since the developer has already started to place easter eggs through voice-over lines.

Frost’s complex character arc starting as a villain and then slowly transforming into a mentor and a leader after joining The X-Men leaves a lot of space for the developers to build upon.
Her hero arc began after she took over leadership of Generation X and made it her duty to train young mutants alongside Banshee. This enabled her to explore the softness inside, hidden beneath her cold exterior.
