Kumasi Asante Kotoko has announced that their senior men’s team will be returning to active football.
The football club will join the Ghana Premier League after they have buried their supporter who died by stabbing at the stadium during the match against Nsoatreman.
This was made known by club Spokesperson, Samuel Sarfo Duku Esq at a Press briefing.
“I would like to declare that, based on the happenings, Asante Kotoko shall be ready for action after the burial and final funeral rite of the late Nana Pooley.”
Asante Kotoko pulled out of the Ghana Premier League after losing their supporter.
The club gave the FA some measures they believe need to be instituted to ensure that things are done right.
Having been satisfied with the implementation of the measures, they have decided to come back to the Ghana Premier League.
