Kieran Culkin’s SAG Awards Speech Was Full of Laughs, but the Sweetest Part Was for His Wife & Kids

Listen, Kieran Culkin brought the sass, brought the funny, and brought the honesty with his acceptance speech. In case you missed it, Culkin won the Best Supporting Actor Award for his role in A Real Pain; and amid his wild speech, he did have the sweetest shoutout to his kiddos.

During his acceptance speech at the 2025 SAG Awards, he was full of jokes, which made the internet erupt in a fit of giggles. But he did have a very sweet moment, and it was all about his wife and kids.

In the last few seconds of his speech, he shouted out his wife and kids, saying, “my wonderful, gorgeous, funny wife Jazz, I love you. Thank you for giving me my favorite people in the world.”

Awwwww! Talk about the sweetest shoutout in the world!

For those who don’t know, Culkin and his wife Jazz Charton met back in 2012. They eloped the following year during a cross-country road trip, and have since welcomed two children named Kinsey Sioux, born in Sept 2019, and Wilder Wolf, born in Aug 2021.

During an appearance on the Fresh Air podcast, Culkin revealed that while parenting “was never something we considered until we did it,” he wouldn’t have it any other way.

“Now it is quite actually the greatest — way better than I could have imagined!” he said. “It doesn’t matter how hard it gets. Like with anything else, you have a job that’s too difficult or a relationship that’s too hard, you just end it. It’s like, done, move on. [With parenthood] it doesn’t matter how hard it gets. It’s always fulfilling and always wonderful. And I’m only two years into it. So who knows, but it’s the greatest thing, way better than I could have imagined.”
