Sometimes, a TV show starts out as one thing in its first few seasons before transforming into something completely different. When a show throws everything at its first season, there is nowhere to go other than in a different direction, and future TV show seasons change it completely. Then there are certain gimmicks that may have worked at the beginning but were later abandoned. And other times, it’s a cliffhanger that changes a TV show forever.
